► Biografía de Slipknot

Slipknot es una agrupación de nu metal o metal alternativo fundada en Des Moines, Iowa, Estados Unidos, a mediados de los noventa. Su alineación actual está compuesta por Corey Taylor como cantante, Craig Jones en los teclados y sampler, James Root y Mick Thomson como guitarristas, Chris Fehn y Shawn Crahan en la percusión y Sid Wilson como DJ. Inicios de Slipknot en la Música En 1992, el baterista Shawn Crahan, el bajista Paul Gray, los guitarristas Donnie Steele y Quan Meld Nong y el cantante Anders Colsefni, se juntaron en Iowa para formar una banda. Para 1995, fundaron la banda The Pale Ones, con Crahan en la batería, Colsefni como vocalista, Gray como bajista y Steele como guitarrista, dejando atrás a Nong en la otra guitarra. Tiempo después, Joey Jordison se unió como baterista y Crahan pasó a ser percusionista.
