Anthony Romeo Santos o, directamente, Romeo Santos como se le llama en el ámbito de la música urbana contemporánea, es un cantante, compositor y exvocalista de la agrupación musical Aventura. Nació el 21 de julio de 1981 en el Bronx, Nueva York, Estados Unidos. En 2011 emprende como solista, luego de varios trabajos discográficos con Aventura. Es reconocido en gran parte del continente americano como el Rey de la Bachata, por ser una figura determinante en la proyección de este género musical y al ocupar sitios privilegiados en las listas Billboard Latino y los Charts de Europa.
