Snoop Dogg, tambien conocido por una cantidad de sobrenombres como Snoop Lion, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tha Doggfather, The Bigg Boss Dogg, Bigg Snoop Dogg y The D-O Double G es un rapero, productor y actor estadounidense. Es el "protegido" del productor Dr. Dre y está considerado como uno de los MCs más prominentes de la escena del rap de la Costa Oeste. Su frase "Fo' shizzle, ma nizzle", que significa, "For sure, my nigga" ("Seguro, mi negro") es muy popular. Cuando era niño, su madre lo llamaba Snoopy ya que el joven veía los dibujos de Charlie Brown en los que aparecía dicho personaje, por lo que se hizo llamar Snoop Doggy Dogg como nombre artístico.
