Celine Dion nació en Charlemagne (Quebec-Canadá), el 30 de marzo de 1968, siendo la menor de 14 hermanos. Sus padres, ambos músicos, regentaban un local donde, de vez en cuando, se ofrecían conciertos e improvisaciones musicales realizadas por algunos miembros de la familia. Celine comenzó a cantar desde muy pequeñita, con apenas cinco años, y a los catorce se fijó en ella un mánager llamado René Angelil, quien decidió darla a conocer por todo el mundo. Sus primeros frutos los consiguieron un año después, en 1982, cuando Celine ganó el festival Yamaha, en Tokio. En 1988 obtuvo un nuevo éxito en su carrera, al ganar el festival de Eurovisión, lo que le abrió las puertas de todo el mundo. Su siguiente triunfo lo obtuvo al interpretar la canción principal de la película 'La bella y la bestia', tema que introdujo en su disco titulado 'Celine Dion'.
