Orville Richard Burrell, conocido en el medio artístico y musical como Shaggy es un rapero jamiquino. Nació el 22 de octubre de 1968, en Kingston, Jamaica. Su talento lo llevó a ser número uno en las islas inglesas, ya que el reggae nunca llegó a cundir en Inglaterra, alternando durante semanas el puesto con el Rey del Pop Michael Jackson. En los últimos años de su carrera musical, luego de un tiempo de descanso, regresó colaborando con reconocidos intérpretes como los latinos Farruko y Cali y El Dandee.
