¿Quién fue Elliott Smith?Steven Paul Smith, más conocido como Elliott Smith, fue un cantautor y músico estadounidense que nació el 6 de agosto de 1969 y falleció el 21 de octubre de 2003. Su instrumento principal fue la guitarra acústica, aunque también utilizaba el piano, el clarinete, el bajo, la armónica y la batería. Smith tenía una suave voz característica y habitualmente recurría a la grabación multipista de su propia voz para crear armonías vocales. Aunque Smith nació en Omaha, Nebraska, creció en Texas, y murió en Los Ángeles, California, residió durante la mayoría de su vida en Portland, Oregón, donde consiguió sus primeros éxitos.
